What to write about
A rate looks wrong
This is the most useful thing you can send us. To let us reproduce it, include:
- which figure — metal, purity, unit and city;
- what the site showed, and what you expected instead;
- roughly when you saw it, and the freshness label at the time (LIVE / DELAYED / NO DATA);
- your source for the expected figure, if you have one.
Before writing, it is worth checking the methodology page — a gap against a jeweller's counter is usually making charges and GST rather than an error, and that page explains the difference.
Data protection
To exercise a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, write to the same address with "PRIVACY" in the subject line — whether you are exercising GDPR rights as an EU resident or CCPA/CPRA rights as a California resident. See the privacy policy for what we actually hold, which is very little.
Licensing and data use
Quoting a figure with a credit and a link is fine. For anything larger — a feed, redistribution, or commercial use — ask us first; see section 5 of the terms of use.

Happy to explain our methodology on the record. Please say what your deadline is.
What we cannot help with
- Investment advice. We are not authorised to give it and we will not. See the disclaimer.
- Buying or selling metal. We are not a dealer and cannot broker, value or authenticate anything.
- A specific jeweller's price. Only that jeweller can explain how they built it.
Email sent to us is processed only to answer you, and kept for up to 12 months afterwards. Please do not send account numbers, identity documents or payment details — we never need them.
